  • Expense entries and categories
  • Receipt photos you upload (stored in AWS S3)

Technical Data

  • IP address at registration and last login
  • Device sync timestamps and IDs for cloud synchronisation

Sharing & third parties

AWS S3 — File Storage

Receipt and profile photos you upload are stored securely in Amazon Web Services S3. AWS operates under enterprise-grade security and privacy standards.

What we never do

  • Sell your personal or financial data to any third party
  • Share your data for marketing or advertising purposes
  • Use your transaction records for anything beyond running Udharu

Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

  • All data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS/TLS
  • Data at rest is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud servers
  • Passwords are hashed using a strong one-way algorithm — never stored in plain text
  • Receipt photos are stored in private, access-controlled S3 buckets

  • Local device — a local copy is maintained for offline use and fast access

How long we keep your data

  • Account and transaction data — retained while your account is active
  • Deleted records — purged from our servers within 30 days of deletion
  • Account deletion — all data removed within 30 days of your request

Children's privacy

Udharu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may revise this policy as our practices evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Udharu after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
